Doctorate Studies at CIS
Doctorate Studies at the CIS
The CIS promotes collaboration between doctoral candidates and PhD students conducting their research in comparative political science and international studies at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. We offer:
- collaboration with faculty members from both institutions, ETH Zürich and the University of Zurich
- the CIS PhD Colloquium, which provides a structure to develop and present your research plan. Your particular chair may offer an alternative or additional weekly colloquium.
- the possibility to attend the CIS Colloquium, which is a weekly guest speaker series,
- attendance at several other events throughout the year such as the PhD retreats, the Zurich Political Economy Seminar Series, and Early Career Research talks.
