Daniel Ziblatt Guest Professor in Comparative Politics May 2023

Daniel Ziblatt is Professor of Political Science at Harvard University and Director of the "Transformations of Democracy" research unit at the WZB in Berlin. He is one of the top scholars worldwide regarding the development of democracy, both historically and in current times. He has written on the role of conservative parties in the development and workings of democracy, and is author of the book "How Democracies Die" (co-authored with Steve Levitsky).
