Oliver Strijbis appointed as promoting SNF professor at IPZ. Oliver is head of the research project "The Effect of Campaign Events on Direct Democratic Decisions: Evidence from Forecast Markets"

Oliver also co-director of the research project "Ethnic Voting in Latin America", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Oliver Strijbis completed his doctorate at the University of St.Gallen and worked as a research fellow and postdoctoral fellow at the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) and at the University of Hamburg. Most recently, he was assistant professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid. We wish Oliver a successful start and welcomt to CIS!
